I'm becoming my mother
My mom called into public radio a few years ago and was on the air. Today, I joined the ranks.
I submitted a question online to NPR related to the "Weather Guy" on the 11am show broadcast live from the Minnesota State Fair. I'm a nerd.

That part of life is unavoidable...
I turned into my dad years ago. Scary, really.
What was your question?
PS - Pretty sure my mom doesn't know what NPR is, so I'm safe from becoming her...at least in this aspect. I think the affinity for shoes and tequila may be genetic.
My question for the meterologist on the show, paraphrased:
We've had an unusually hot summer. Knowing this, can we expect a particularly warm or cold winter? Is there a correlation?
The answer - nope, not really. 100 years of MN weather history doesn't show a correlation.
